The Viro-Clean 300 system is an important tool for infection control. Recommended for treatment and consulting rooms, waiting and reception areas, wards and patient rooms, laboratories etc., the system is designed to protect medical staff and patients from infection by destroying harmful airborne bacteria, mould and viral organisms, including MRSA and SARS.
How it works: Air is drawn into the unit where the UV lamp produces germicidal UVC at a range of 254 nanometers. The photons produced can destroy the DNA of micro-organisms, which cannot develop immunity to the effects. The air is then reintroduced into the room with sterile micro-organisms. Ultraviolet germicidal protection is a safe and proven technology and most airborne viruses are especially susceptible to destruction by UVC radiation.
Viro-Clean is safe, quick and easy to install: simply fix it to the wall and plug it into the nearest electrical socket. The UV system within the unit is effective up to 8,000 hours and replacement lamps are quickly and easily installed. Viro-Clean 300 is CE accredited and is supported by independent laboratory results. Viro-Clean 300 is designed for use in rooms up to 95 cubic metres in volume. Dimensions 450 x 460 x 100mmD.
